Andrew Breichmanas

Andrew Breichmanas, P.Eng., joined Konwave AG in August 2025 and operates out of London and Toronto. He supports the fund management team on technical and investment matters, with a particular focus on companies in the early development and production phase.

Previously, he accumulated nearly 20 years of capital markets experience as an equity analyst specialising in the metals and mining sector at BMO Capital Markets, Desjardins Securities and Stifel Nicolaus. In this role he analysed a broad range of international mining companies, from single-asset developers to diversified producers. In 2015 he was recognised as the top stock selector at the Thomson Reuters StarMine Canadian Analyst Awards.

Andrew began his career as an engineering consultant, overseeing the planning, procurement, construction and commissioning of capital projects for clients such as Anglo American, Glencore, Rio Tinto, Vale and Alcoa. He remains registered with Professional Engineers Ontario and holds the P.Eng. designation.

He earned a degree from the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at Queen’s University and an MBA in corporate strategy and finance from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
