Andrew Kaip

Andrew Kaip, P.Geo., joined Konwave AG in January 2025 and is based in Vancouver, where he is responsible for conducting technical due diligence across all Konwave mining funds.

He brings more than 30 years of experience in the mining sector and capital markets, offering a broad global perspective. As a mining analyst, he was consistently ranked by Brendan Wood International among the top three in the precious metals and diamonds categories for both large and small-to-mid-sized companies. As Co-Head of Mining Research at BMO Capital Markets, Andrew played a pivotal role in building a global franchise covering more than 150 companies.

His career spans the full spectrum of the industry, from the largest gold producers to the smallest exploration companies. As a geologist, he spent over a decade working on exploration projects in North, Central and South America. Most recently, as Vice President Business Development at Hy-Tech Drilling Ltd., he expanded his expertise by gaining hands-on experience in the diamond drilling sector.

Andrew is a professional geoscientist (P.Geo.) and holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of British Columbia.
